Installation and care guidelines

Before installation, inspect each assembly for cover damage, loose fittings, or foreign material inside the bore. Never install a hose that shows any sign of shipping or storage damage.

Route the assembly without twisting, and never force a bend tighter than the specified minimum bend radius. Secure the hose away from hot exhaust surfaces and moving parts, and use anti chafing sleeves where contact with edges or structures is unavoidable.

Keep the hydraulic fluid within the recommended temperature limits. The assembly is designed for marine hydraulic oil; do not use it to convey strong acids, alkalis, or solvents without first consulting our engineering team. Avoid leaving hoses continuously submerged in bilge water, and periodically wipe off salt deposits and oil residue during routine rounds.

Inspect critical assemblies at least every six months. Look closely at the areas just behind the fittings and along tight bend sections for soft spots, blistering, cover cracking, or oil mist. If you find any, plan a replacement. A hose that feels unusually hard or shows a permanent kink should be retired immediately.

When the vessel is idle for extended periods, relieve system pressure and keep the hoses clean and dry. Store spare assemblies indoors, away from direct sunlight and electrical equipment, with end caps in place until the moment of installation.
