The qualification of crimping can be determined through the following multidimensional methods: external dimension verification, structural firmness inspection, sealing performance testing, and internal state re inspection.
Appearance dimension verification
Use specialized measuring tools to check the outer diameter of the crimped jacket, confirm that the value meets the corresponding process standards, has no local deformation or skewness, and the indentation is uniform without any protrusions or depressions.
Structural firmness inspection
Manually apply force to pull the joint and hose to confirm that there is no relative looseness or displacement between the two. Combined with the pull-out force test required by the standard, verify that there will be no axial separation.
Sealing performance test
Conduct a pressure test on the assembly after crimping, and fill it with a medium of rated working pressure to maintain pressure. There should be no leakage or bulging throughout the entire process. At the same time, air tightness testing can be supplemented to identify potential micro leakage hazards.
Internal status re inspection
Disassemble and inspect the crimping samples to confirm that the rubber layer inside the hose is not excessively squeezed or damaged, the steel wire skeleton is not broken, and the inner core is fully inserted in place, meeting the structural design requirements.
